- What are the timings?
- Saturday 23rd May - Doors 13:00, Last Entry 17:00, Event Ends 22:30. Sunday 24th May - Doors 13:00, Last Entry 18:00, Event Ends 22:00. PLEASE NOTE: RE-ENTRY IS NOT POSSIBLE AT THIS EVENT.
- Is there an age restriction?
- Yes. RECESSLAND is 21+ and ID is required for all attendees.
- Do I need ID?
- Yes. This event is 21+ and ID is required. Accepted photo ID: a photo driving licence, a passport, or a PASS proof-of-age card. Our security teams can also accept the YOTI app.
- Are there items I cannot bring?
- Leave bags larger than A4, umbrellas, picnic blankets and chairs at home. Prohibited items include: balaclavas/masks/helmets, alcohol, bags larger than A4 (21 x 29.7cm), lasers, chairs (including camping chairs and stools), spray cans (including deodorant), professional cameras, glass, illegal substances, large metal refillable bottles and flasks, flags/banners/poles, pyrotechnics and fireworks, laptops/tablets/audio recording devices, drones, skateboards/rollerblades/bicycles, air horns, megaphones, animals (other than assistance dogs), weapons, selfie sticks, umbrellas, knives of any kind, goods for unauthorised trading, balloons, items promoting cultural appropriation, cool bags/boxes, perfume and makeup over 100ml, sound systems, unofficial tabards and high vis jackets, disposable BBQs. All guests pass through security and bag searches. Items deemed dangerous will be confiscated. The list is subject to change without notice.
- Will there be searches?
- Yes. Searches are carried out at all live music events. Check the prohibited items list before joining the queue lanes. Bags bigger than A4, large metal flasks and bottles, umbrellas, and chairs are not permitted. You may be refused entry or ejected without refund if you refuse to surrender a prohibited item or to be searched, or if your behaviour or items pose a safety risk, affect other visitors, or breach venue or ticket terms.
- Will confiscated items be returned?
- No. Confiscated items are not returned and will be disposed of by the venue.
- Can I bring a bag?
- No bags larger than A4 (21 x 29.7cm) are permitted. Bring as little as possible. If you need a larger bag for medical reasons, email customerservices@dreamland.co.uk before the event. Bags left unattended at ingress will be disposed of.
- What is included with a VIP ticket?
- Access to the VIP Platform Area, express queuing on entry, VIP toilets, and an exclusive VIP bar area and food vendors. Food and drink are charged separately and not included.
- Will there be food traders?
- Yes, a wide selection of food traders.
- Can I bring food and drink?
- No outside food or drink. There are food traders and plenty of bars. Free water is available at Hydration Stations inside the venue. With a doctor's note, diet-specific food and drink only is allowed.
- Is there seating?
- Dreamland is a standing-only venue. Portable seating is not allowed and will be confiscated. The only seating is on the accessible platform, for accessible platform ticket holders only. If you need to sit down, speak to a member of the Dreamland Event Management team on site.
- Is there a disabled access area?
- Our outdoor venue is accessible and mainly level, with block-paved or gravel/sand paths. Accessible Platform ticket holders should head to the VIP / Accessible area, reached via the slight slope by Rosco's Ice Cream van. Ask a member of the Dreamland team for assistance.
- Can I bring a baby or child?
- No. We cannot permit babies or children at this 21+ event.
- Will there be haze or strobe?
- Most events contain flashing lights and use of haze as standard. We make every effort to advertise this on the doors.
- Can I use cash?
- Dreamland is cashless. Pay by card or contactless.
